There's no place like home for Milwaukee Reagan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over Riverside University/Meir on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 13 games by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Brooke Scott made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). As for Riverside University/Meir, they moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
