Treutlen had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Twiggs County Cobras on Friday as they made off with  a  41-18 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Zaniel Stokes was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 110 receiving yards and three  scores.  Za'Kian Tobler was another key player, rushing for 98 yards on only 11 carries.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Treutlen, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Deverin Knowles, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
 Coming up, Treutlen will be playing at home against Wilkinson County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Twiggs County, they are headed away from home for the first time to  take on  Greene County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
