Jacksonville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Devin Barksdale led the charge by scoring 17 points. The game was Barksdale's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Nixon, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Jacksonville's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Gadsden City, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Jacksonville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fort Payne at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Gadsden City, they will be playing at home against Clay-Chalkville on Thursday.
