Eli Miller was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Rowan County's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-11 when he doesn't).

Rose continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Rowan County's record is now 15-11. As for Model, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.
