Stow-Munroe Falls' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Sierra Zelenak, who had 24 assists and ten digs, and Carrie Winkler, who had ten digs and one assist. Those 24 assists gave Zelenak a new career-high.
Stow-Munroe Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, North Royalton lost 3-0 to Olmsted Falls on Wednesday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
North Royalton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-14, 25-10.
North Royalton's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their record now sits at 8-9.
