Muscatine won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Muskies blew past the Demons 8-1. Considering the Muskies have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Muscatine's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Washington, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Muscatine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 win against North Scott on the 29th. Hopefully Washington paid attention to the Muskies' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Muskies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
