The Christian Community Colts can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Pleasant View Christian 42-16. With Christian Community ahead 23-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Christian Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from A.C. Caverly, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Autumn Ray, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pleasant View Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Christian Community pulled down 21 offensive rebounds.
Christian Community is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Pleasant View Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Christian Community will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Pleasant View Christian, they will play host again and welcome South Haven Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully South Haven Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday.
