The Hazlehurst Indians lost against the Magee Trojans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Hazlehurst took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hazlehurst in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.
Nicole Sandifer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Magee, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 25 consecutive games in which Sandifer has scored at least a third of Magee's points. Another player making a difference was Jamya Brown, who scored 12 points along with five assists.
Hazlehurst's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Magee, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-16.
Hazlehurst will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Magee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hazlehurst at 6:00 p.m.
