Academy for Innovative Education was led to victory by Alexa Garofalo and Samantha Ayerdis. Garofalo dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Ayerdis scored 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Ayerdis has scored at least 25% of Academy for Innovative Education's points. Jazmin Grullon was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five assists.
Academy for Innovative Education's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. As for Dade Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
