Colfax-Mingo won against BCLUW last Friday, and Colfax-Mingo decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Colfax-Mingo captured a comfortable 41-23 win over Martensdale-St. Mary's.
Colfax-Mingo's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 19 points in the first half. Martensdale-St. Mary's came up with 7 to make it 19-7 heading into the break. The offense for Colfax-Mingo continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 22 points. The game pushed Martensdale-St. Mary's down to 0-1 and pulled Colfax-Mingo up to the reverse 1-0.
Colfax-Mingo are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Wayne next week at 7:00 PM. Martensdale-St. Mary's will look to defend their home turf next week against Woodward Academy at 7:00 PM.
