Scotland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaquez Caldwell, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Dylan Lampley, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Tyler Hines was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Darius Breeden was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Scotland's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Hoke County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scotland will take on Southern Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Lee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 465 points over their last seven games. As for Hoke County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
