Meanwhile, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg was able to grind out a solid  win over Neoga on Friday, taking the game  2-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14,  25-14.
 Newton's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9.
 Newton was able to grind out a solid  win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, winning  2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
