The Ringling Blue Devils entered their tilt with the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Ringling enjoyed a cozy 39-20 victory over Elmore City-Pernell on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ringling also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Ringling had a senior duo take command as will inselman rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries and William Davis rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Inselman was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
Ringling's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Healdton and 1-8 Wayne (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 32.2% over those games). As for Elmore City-Pernell, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Ringling will head out on the road to face off against Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elmore City-Pernell, they will be playing at home against Healdton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Healdton is ranked 255th, while Elmore City-Pernell is ranked 235th).
