The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Argos.
Despite the loss, Plymouth still got an impressive performance from Tynley Gantz, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gantz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rylee Mann, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Even though they lost, Plymouth smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Argos got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samantha Redinger out in front who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which Redinger has scored at least a third of Argos' points. Morgyn Barcus was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Plymouth has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Argos, they pushed their record up to 9-12 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Plymouth will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Cavemen at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st.
