On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Monroe's defense and their 11 sacks. Anthony Omebe led the group effort, picking up four of those sacks all by himself. The win was the third in a row for Monroe, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.3 points. As for Eastridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 34-14 victory against Irondequoit on the 1st.
