Comstock has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Maple Valley Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Comstock came up short against Marcellus and fell 46-34.
Meanwhile, Maple Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Bronson on the road and fell 67-30. While losing is never fun, Maple Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while Bronson is ranked 209th).
Comstock's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Maple Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Comstock was able to grind out a solid win over Maple Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 60-53. Will Comstock repeat their success, or does Maple Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
