Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask West Carroll). They blew past the Humboldt Vikings 16-1 on Monday. The War Eagles have beaten the Vikings the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.
 Sawyer Jackson looked comfortable as he  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cole McMinn, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He also  brought in three  RBI, which is notable because West Carroll is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  three  RBI, but 1-10 otherwise.  Drake O'Bryan was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
