This season hasn't been kind to the Wildwood Wildcats, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were beaten by Leesburg 62-27 on Tuesday. Wildwood was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-15.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Terriyon Bryant, who scored 4 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Harvard, who scored 4 points.
Wildwood has fallen quite a ways from their 19-8-1 record last season and are now at 0-4. As for Leesburg, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wildwood is on the road again on Friday and play against St. John Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Leesburg, they will challenge Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
