Desert Pines has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 33 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 68-25 victory over Corona del Sol on the road. Desert Pines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Desert Pines got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alanna Jackson out in front who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Siara Bracey , who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Saint Mary's Hall earned a 46-37 victory over Westminster on Wednesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Saint Mary's Hall's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 257th in Texas, while Westminster is ranked 115th in Colorado).
Desert Pines' win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
