The Rivercrest Colts entered their tilt with the Blytheville Chickasaws with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Rivercrest enjoyed a cozy 31-12 victory over Blytheville on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rivercrest also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Rivercrest had a senior duo take command as Koby Turner rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry and Michael Rainer gained 151 total yards and two touchdowns. Rainer was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards.
Rivercrest's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. As for Blytheville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Rivercrest will be playing in front of their home fans against Mena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blytheville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
