East Troy dropped down to 9-10 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Janesville Craig Cougars by a score of  2-1. The Trojans were not able to make up for their  loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 Despite the loss, East Troy still got an impressive performance from   Carli Murphy, who  had 14  digs and three  assists.
As for Janesville Craig, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory they have posted  since August 30th.
 Janesville Craig found their leader in sophomore  Chloe Adams, who  had five  aces and four  digs. Adams has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more  assists the last ten times she's  played.  Sophie Hanna was another key player,  getting ten  kills.
 East Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  2-0  defeat against Edgerton on the 20th. As for Janesville Craig, they have also already played their next match,  a  2-0  win against Stoughton on the 20th.
