Volleyball Recap: Palmer Has No Trouble Against Rice

Palmer not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Rice with a sharp 3-0 victory. Palmer hasn't had any issues with Rice recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Palmer was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Lexey Maxwell paced Palmer's offense, picking up 13 kills. Maxwell got some help from Harley Ellis and her 18 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Rice, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-23.

As of now, neither Palmer nor Rice have any future games scheduled.
