The Skyline Falcons will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Frederick Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Skyline is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
Skyline suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Thompson Valley on the road and fell 77-47. Skyline has struggled against Thompson Valley recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Skyline's loss came about despite a quality game from Andy Erives, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Erives has scored all season. Talan Starcevich was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Skyline smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
In what's become a running theme this season, Frederick gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They breezed by Northridge on the road to the tune of 80-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Frederick has posted against Northridge since December 6, 2019.
Skyline's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Frederick, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Skyline took a serious blow against Frederick in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 97-52. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Skyline was down 46-13.
