Huntland entered their tilt with Cascade on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 33-32 victory over the Cascade Champions. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Champions back in November, they had to take a 45-42 defeat.

Cascade's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caroline Parker, who posted 11 points, and Kaegan Young, who put up ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence Miller, who had five points.

Huntland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Cascade, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Huntland will head out on the road to square off against Cornersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-52 defeat against Central Magnet on the 16th.
