Pinecrest Gets a Boost from Spencer in 42-13 Victory
Starting off the list is Pinecrest's Zymire Spencer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Spencer rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Spencer could be in store for another big game when he takes on Lee County on Friday. Spencer rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Yellow Jackets duked it out back in October of 2023.

Keyshaun Mcqueen Turns in Another Game with at Least Seven Total Tackles
On Friday, Scotland had to settle for second even though Keyshaun Mcqueen put up the best numbers he has all season. Mcqueen wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making nine total tackles. The matchup was his seventh straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.
Scotland dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Mcqueen and Scotland will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pinecrest at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.
