Mt. Zion was led to victory by Denver Anderson and Jocelyn Turner. Anderson scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and five assists, while Turner scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. The match was Anderson's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Maddie Kendall was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Mt. Zion has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Carbondale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
