It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Hillsborough Terriers had no problem doing just that on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Patriots 61-12 on the road. Hillsborough has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 23 points or more this season.
Ja'mya Roberson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Deana Epps, who scored six points along with seven steals.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Hillsborough, bringing their record for this year to 16-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Pinellas Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Hillsborough is on the road again on Wednesday and plays Countryside at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. One thing working in Hillsborough's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. Pinellas Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
