Waldron has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Milan Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waldron will be strutting in after a victory while Milan will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Waldron earned a 44-33 victory over Morristown. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Waldron has managed all season.
Lucas Shaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Jones, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Milan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 69-60 to Edinburgh. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Waldron's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Milan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Waldron was dealt a bruising 100-59 loss at the hands of Milan in their previous matchup back in December of 2018. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Waldron was down 54-23.
