Everything went their way against Stebbins on Monday as Legacy Christian Academy made off with a 52-31 victory. Given Legacy Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Stebbins is ranked 307th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Legacy Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Audrey Stanley, who scored 9 points along with 9 steals, and Ali Solomon, who scored 20 points along with 5 steals. Solomon is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Alayna Allport was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Meanwhile, Clinton-Massie escaped with a win on Saturday against Whiteoak by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42.
Cincinnati Country Day's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped theirs to 2-1.
Legacy Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Clinton-Massie in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory.
