The Keystone Heights Indians had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 49-44 victory over Bronson on Friday. The win was just what Keystone Heights needed coming off of a 62-34 loss in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keystone Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrison Teague, who scored nine points. Connor Guy was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Keystone Heights' victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Bronson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keystone Heights will square off against the Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronson, they will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Trenton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
