The Gulf Coast Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Barron Collier 56-33. The game was Mcdonough's third in a row with at least ten points. Kali Cleary was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Gulf Coast's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Barron Collier, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1.
Gulf Coast will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Immokalee at 7:00 p.m. Immokalee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Barron Collier, they will head out on the road to face off against Aubrey Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aubrey Rogers presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Barron Collier in Florida (Aubrey Rogers is ranked 87th, while Barron Collier is ranked 203rd).
