Despite the loss, Charlotte Christian saw an underclassman step up: Terence Guess scored 24 points along with three steals. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Austin Bradway, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Charlotte Christian were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Leading Richland Northeast to victory were William Wilson and Jaylen Tillman. Wilson scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Tillman scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. The match was Wilson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. David Wine was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Richland Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
