They had to suffer through a rough 110-52 loss at the hands of the. While losing is never fun, Horeb Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 781st, while Sagemont is ranked tenth).
Despite the loss, Horeb Christian had strong showings from Jeremiah Wilson, who scored 21 points, and Ifeanyi Ezeala, who scored 19 points. Ezeala continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Horeb Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Sagemont, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.
Horeb Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sagemont, they will face off against Donna Klein Jewish Academy at TBD on Thursday. Sagemont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
