The Riverton Parke Panthers will square off against the Attica Red Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Riverton Parke's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Riverton Parke will bounce into Friday's game after beating South Vermillion, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Wildcats 61-6. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Riverton Parke had a senior duo take command as Collett Sanders rushed for 100 yards and two TDs on only eight carries and Sean Vester rushed for 168 yards and one score on only nine carries. Vester's longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Noah Pope, who gained 53 total yards and two touchdowns.
Riverton Parke was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 497 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 203 rushing yards in 16 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Riverton Parke didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jackson While.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Attica, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 26-20 win over North Vermillion on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Ramblers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Attica found their leader in freshman Lucas Griffis, who rushed for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Griffis also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles (4.0 for loss). Carter Vredenburgh was another key player, throwing for 99 yards and a pair of TDs.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Riverton Parke has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 403.3 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Attica, though, as they've been averaging only 68.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Riverton Parke against Attica when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Red Ramblers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
