Norte Vista suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 5-0 loss at the hands of Arlington. Norte Vista has not had much luck with Arlington recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, La Sierra has not won a game since December 28, 2023, a trend which continued on Thursday. They fell just short of Patriot by a score of 2-1.
Norte Vista's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-4. As for La Sierra, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.
Norte Vista took their victory against La Sierra in their previous matchup on January 4th by a conclusive 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norte Vista since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
