You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Gaffney on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Boiling Springs Bulldogs out of the water with a 68-24 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Gaffney was led to victory by Korbyn Lydia and Shiriah Harris. Lydia went 7 of 12 on her way to 19 points and five steals, while Harris almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. That's the most steals Lydia has posted since back in December of 2023. Izzy Sarratt was another key player, putting up five points along with five assists and four steals.

Gaffney was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boiling Springs only posted two assists.

Despite the defeat, Boiling Springs saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Makenzie Kinard posted 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals. That was a full 58.3% of Boiling Springs' points, marking the seventh time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Gaffney's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. As for Boiling Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Gaffney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-23 win against Wade Hampton on the 24th. Boiling Springs has also already played their next matchup (against Dorman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
