After flying high against East Dayton Christian last Saturday, the Christian Academy Eagles came back down to earth. Christian Academy took a hard 43-25 fall against the Sabers on Thursday. Christian Academy has struggled against the Sabers recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dominion Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cecilia Canida, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tessa Merkel, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dominion Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dominion Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
