On Friday, The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. John XXIII 52-0 at home. Given Fort Bend Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 513th, while St. John XXIII is ranked 1047th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Fort Bend Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Ramarian Tillman, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jack Malone, who threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Fort Bend Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for St. John XXIII, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Fort Bend Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Kelly Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kelly Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. As for St. John XXIII, they will be playing at home against Lutheran South Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
