The Mt. Hebron Vikings will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Reservoir 'Gators at 7:00 p.m.
Mt. Hebron unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak last Thursday. They took a 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Howard. Mt. Hebron had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year.
Meanwhile, Reservoir won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Long Reach 28-27.
Reservoir got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kevin Sisk out in front who rushed for 99 yards. Another player making a difference was Adrian Alvarado, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Reservoir's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Long Reach's QB won't forget Moses Bailey anytime soon given Bailey sacked him five times.
Howard's win bumped their season record to 5-3 while Mt. Hebron's defeat dropped theirs to 7-1.
Mt. Hebron beat Reservoir 29-21 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Does Mt. Hebron have another victory up their sleeve, or will Reservoir turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
