Lourdes took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Fall River, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Pirates 2-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since September 20th.

Anika Leitch paced Lourdes' offense, picking up six kills. Leitch got some help from Celia Ralofsky and her 12 assists.

Lourdes' victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Fall River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Lourdes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Abundant Life on the 11th. As for Fall River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Deerfield on the 11th.
