The Klahowya Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 80-35 loss at the hands of Annie Wright. Klahowya has not had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Klahowya's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Thatcher Wise, who scored seven points, and Grant Solvie who scored five points.
Klahowya's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Annie Wright, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Klahowya will square off against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Vashon Island is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. As for Annie Wright, they and the Rivals will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Tuesday.
