It was a good run, but the Glencliff Colts unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-49 walloping at the hands of Hume-Fogg. While losing is never fun, Glencliff can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Blue Knights are ranked 139th).
Hume-Fogg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Nwoye out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Isiah Ring was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Hume-Fogg, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Glencliff will face off against the Lightning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hume-Fogg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Valor College Prep is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
