Sulligent's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aj Lowe, who rushed for 89 yards and three touchdowns. Lowe has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Haigen Gann, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Colbert County's win was their fourth straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.3 points per game. As for Sulligent, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.
Colbert County will head out on the road to face off against Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winfield is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. As for Sulligent, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hatton at 7:00 p.m.
