Abbeville Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Bower, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
Lakeside School pushed their record up to 40-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lakeside School has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .487. However, it's not like Abbeville Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .472. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
