The Spring Mountain Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with an 82-71 win over Round Mountain. The victory was familiar territory for Spring Mountain who now have nine in a row.
Round Mountain lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Blake Bullington, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Bullington hasn't dropped below five steals for 14 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keiran Swafford, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Spring Mountain's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Round Mountain, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.
Spring Mountain's road trip will continue as they head out to face Indian Springs at 5:20 p.m. on February 16th. Spring Mountain is facing Indian Springs at the right time seeing as Indian Springs is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Round Mountain, they will take on Tonopah at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
