King City came out on top against Pattonsburg on Thursday thanks in part to Jaxon Shoop's efforts. Shoop produced his best game of the campaign: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of King City's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).
