Grant moved up to 135 from 168 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Delta Valley.
Monterey Trail led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Pioneer. Donovan Robinson threw for 54 yards and one touchdown in the win.
Laguna Creek's dynamic duo of Jack Walsh and Denzel Johnson proved tough for Jesuit to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Walsh threw for 109 yards and one touchdown and Johnson had 91 yards receiving. Davonte Castex helped Laguna Creek's passing attack out by catching one ball for 16 yards.
C.J. Ramseur was the most productive running back in the league this week. In four carries, he ran for 54 yards as the Mustangs lost to the Marauders. Elijah McGolthin also contributed to the rushing game with 41 yards on the ground.
Jacobi Kelly made the biggest impact on defense this week as Laguna Creek fell to Jesuit. The 5-foot-9 junior racked up one sack.
6-foot-0 quarterback Isaiah Rios of the Pacers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 856. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, Elk Grove's Robert Frazier has rushed for 815 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Johnson. The Laguna Creek star has 18 catches for 402 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Davis takes on Monterey Trail. The Blue Devils are currently in fourth, while T.J. Ewing's team is in third.
