Grayson Rigdon had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 38 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keegan Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten assists.
Newcastle bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Benjamin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
