Meanwhile, Garrett Memorial Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down New Life Christian Academy 71-52. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for 52 points.
Mikayla Fields continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Laikyn Mitchell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Cornerstone Christian's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.1 points per game. As for Garrett Memorial Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
