Century had a senior duo take command as Karleigh Jones scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals and Ashton Dillow dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Dillow's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Navaeh Mackins, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Northside Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Century, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Century at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024. As for Century, they will head out on the road to face off against Pope County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
